1.Introduction

TP450 is a unique high-frequency thermoplastic material composed of ceramic-filled polyphenylene oxide (PPO) resin without fiberglass reinforcement. This innovative formulation allows precise adjustment of dielectric constant (Dk) between 3 to 25 to meet specific circuit requirements, with TP450 optimized for Dk 4.5±0.2 at 10GHz.
Key advantages include:
Ultra-low dissipation factor (0.0010 at 10GHz) for high-frequency efficiency.
Exceptional thermal stability with low TCDk (-50 ppm/°C) and balanced CTE (50/50/60 ppm/°C).
Moisture resistance (0.01% absorption) and UL 94-V0 flammability rating for harsh environments.


Unlike traditional laminates, TP series materials offer smooth surfaces without fiberglass weave, reducing signal loss and enabling consistent RF performance. The absence of reinforcement also simplifies machining for complex aerospace and defense applications.
