Introduction to RO4835 High-Frequency PCBs

Unlike traditional thermoset laminates like FR-4, which are prone to oxidation over time and under high temperatures, Rogers’ RO4835 laminate delivers superior thermal stability and oxidation resistance. Its electrical and mechanical properties are comparable to RO4350B, making it an excellent choice for high-frequency applications. RO4835 is a low-loss material fully compatible with standard FR-4 manufacturing processes, offering both performance and cost efficiency.

Key Features of RO4835 Laminates

RoHS compliant and UL 94 V-0 certified for flame retardancy
Available with LoPro Reverse treated copper foil for reduced insertion loss
Stable dielectric constant of 3.48 with tight tolerance
Low dissipation factor of 0.0037 at 10 GHz for minimal signal loss
Excellent CTE values: 10 ppm/°C (X), 12 ppm/°C (Y), 31 ppm/°C (Z)

These features ensure stable performance across temperature variations, making TC600 ideal for power amplifiers and antennas where gain and bandwidth consistency are crucial.
