Brief Introduction

This flexible printed circuit (FPC) is a single-sided strip measuring 2 meters in length. It features 1oz copper with tesa tape on the back side, a white coverlay, and immersion gold on the pads. Built on a polyimide substrate with a width of 7mm, this FPC is specifically designed for use in telemetry systems.

Basic Types of Flexible Circuits

1.Single-Sided Flexible Circuits: The simplest type, consisting of a thin base material laminated with copper foil and often covered with a covercoat.
2.Double-Sided Flexible Circuits: Features copper foil laminated on both sides, frequently with covercoats on the outer sides.
3.Multilayer Flexible Circuits: Comprises multiple thin laminates and copper foils bonded together, similar to rigid multilayer boards.
4.Flex-Rigid Circuits: Combines rigid boards with flexible circuits, providing flexible interconnects.
5.Flexible Circuits with Rigid Areas: Reinforced areas for heavy components, achieved by bonding a stiffener.
