Introduction to RF-35TC

The Taconic RF-35TC is a premier high frequency material specifically designed for advanced applications. This PCB substrate boasts an exceptional low dissipation factor combined with high thermal conductivity, making it ideal for high power scenarios where precision is crucial. Every fraction of a dB matters, and RF-35TC effectively dissipates heat from both transmission lines and surface mount components, such as transistors.


Material Composition

RF-35TC consists of a PTFE-based, ceramic-filled fiberglass substrate. Unlike synthetic rubber (hydrocarbon) alternatives, it is resistant to oxidation, yellowing, and drift in dielectric constant and dissipation factor over time.

2.Dissipation Factor (Df): Extremely low at 0.0011

This laminate not only offers superior thermal management but also bonds effectively to low-profile copper, which significantly minimizes insertion loss.
